Go [a]way is inspired by the fascinating works of Lucian Freud, a British painter of the 20th century who died in 2011. Roughness, all-encompassing honesty as well as literal and figurative exposure are central elements of his works. The dancers used his paintings as a stating point to develop different characters, showing real and fictional moments or clashing and melting together to a whole.
