ZEIT:LOS

ZEIT:LOS is a dance theatre music production, which is dedicated to the theme of impermanence. The multidisciplinary team creates different images, sound colours and time dimensions which flow into each other and complement each other. Honestly, humorously and full of energy the artists explore their own transience, listening to the elapsing sound and then the liveliness rears its head in the here and now of the performing arts: Bodies exert themselves, voices rise and the moment lives.

The five performers guide the audience through different levels of feelings and intensity. The questions about the nature of the passing are directed to the past, present and future and remain valid: timelessly. Be it in relation to faith, technical progress, social changes, the ups and downs of interpersonal relationships, interpretation and reinterpretation of objects and architecture.

ZEIT:LOS makes use of these contextualizations by staging the piece within two very different spaces in order to emphasise the various aspects of the theme: The Gönninger Chapel was built in the second half of the 18th century as a place of faith, CON Bamberg in the 1980s as a place of manufacture. The space itself becomes a further actor during the ZEIT:LOSE experience.
